Hey there! I just caught up on your PJ. I noticed that you were in Scarborough not too long ago and ate at On The Boarder. There is a really good chance that I was there at the same day...we go like 2ice some time 3 times a week...which doesnt help with me with the die-t thing! Did you sit on the bar side or the restaurant side? I love the sandals!!!! Everything you have is SUPER cute and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the garter!!!! I cant wait to read more! What is the name of the bridal ship that you purchased your dress from? I got some Kristie Kelly earrings from a bridal shop up in "The county" It was name modabella or something like that. EW you are 3 hours north of Bang-her. I didnt think that there was really any life north od Portland but I guess you've proven me wrong! BTW...I threw up in my mouth when I saw the snow pictures!

I'm doing something a little different for the memorial part of our wedding. Rob's grandmother and my great aunt were very important to us and they've both passed on. We bought these small frames with ribbon to go on my bouquet (just as a possible idea):

ACK!! You're kidding! We were at the same place?! Holey moley!!! We went on Saturday night about 8pm - it was pouring rain. We sat in the restaurant part of it. It was still packed - we would have sat anywhere! There are absolutely no Mexican restaurants in Northern Maine. There's not much in Northern Maine. After Bangor there's nothing. Rob and I want to move downstate after I graduate. Portland is great! And there's a Target

Isn't the snow disgusting? Rob said that there could be a few inches this Wednesday. I'm going to post pictures, just for those snow loving subscribers. I'll give you fair notice to run out of here!!

Hey Jo,

Yes it came!! I love it. I tried it on and it fits perfectly. I tried to get some pictures of it, but they really didn't come out right. I'll try again - I tried to have my technophobic step mom try as well and they didn't come out.

I'm going to wait a few months and then bring it in for alterations. I hope to be able to bring it in a few inches by then. But as a whole it doesn't need major alterations.

When will your dress come in?? Will you have to get someone else to do alterations since it's coming from so far away??

Did you decide on a cake? I LOVE them all! Here's what I would do --- the second cake except with the swirls from the third on the white parts and of course yellow floral instead. You could even request a few hidden mickeys hidden in a couple swirls!

Yep it is - I'm too tight as well. I mean I'm only wearing it once! I the dress - and it took about a month from start to finish, so it's not a bad turn around either!

Well thank you very much for the compliments! You now have a month and a half to overtake me in the wedding planning hehehe.... Most of my planning is going on hold as we move into a new house. I'm going to be concentrating on deposits and that's about it for now. I can't find my way around my house, and we just began packing today! Oops.

The dress is in and is safely hung up in my DF's closet (in a sealed garment bag of course!). I love it and it fits perfectly! I think one of the reasons that I wanted to go from China (in addition to cost) is that I had a phobia of going dress shopping. I'm a former high school ice hockey player who is built like a linebacker. I didn't think much good would come out of me going shopping. I'm going to have it professionally tailored up here in a few months - just want the diet to work its magic a bit more!

Once I can get a friend to take a picture of me in the dress that I like I will post it. Here are two pictures I took when it came in. First one is the bodice and the second one is the bottom of the front. All creases are just from being stuck in the mailer.

This is the best I have for right now. More to come!!

LMAO - I was so busy freaking out about how I looked in the dress, I didn't even think about the posters in the back!! I went to the Spice Girls reunion concert last winter, and I wanted something to remind me of the concert. I was being El Cheapo Meg, (and not willing to spend 30 on a program) and I bought the poster. Don't worry - R.E.M. remains my first love. It was a great concert, I took my dad - he had a thing for Sporty Spice back in the day. LOL
