Now when I mean freezing, I mean FRIGID! -40oF last night. Blecch..​

Just a few things to report in. We've made up our mind on some songs.

First Dance: "I'll Be Loving You Forever" by NKOTB which goes directly into "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley

Mother - Son Dance - "Close To You" by the Carpenters - Rob's mom has no idea. This is one of her favorite songs, she used to sing it to Rob when he was in the hospital when he was a baby. (He was born with esophageal altresia which is basically an esophagus in two places). So it's a special song to her.

Father - Daughter Dance - "Daddy" by Beyonce. This song is completely me and my dad. There's this lyric

"And I remember when you could do no wrong

And I jump in your arms when I saw you

I was so happy
(So happy to see you so happy to see you)
To see you"

And that is exactly how I was when I was a kid - and Dad loves Beyonce so I think it will work well.

I decided on the place card holders:

They come in sets of 12, and we're assuming about 30-50, so I'm going to order 4 sets which comes out to 63.80 - not horrible!

I'm trying to get in touch with LeJeune to schedule my makeup trial, but haven't been able to so far. Will post back on that.

I cried the first time Rob's Mom told me the story how she would pick him up even with all the wires and tubes and sing to him. We are so going to need to get stock in Kleenex for the wedding!

I've emailed and I've given a few calls, but all I've gotten is the voice mail. I'll try again tomorrow. I hate to be a pain, but I want to get it scheduled in before she gets booked up for that week.

It's a Sunday though, and it's about 2 hours away from me, so my friends kinda don't want to have to take the following Monday off work... like HELLO! It's NKOTB! So anyways, in hopes that they may give in, I was listening to my NKOTB Greatest Hits CD on my way to work, and I'll Be Loving You Forver came on, and I was like aww, that's Megan's wedding song! So cute!!

Aww thanks for thinking of me! On this board my name is synonmous with two things: NKOTB and Snow. I'm so happy for you to be able to go to see them(and your friends better give in it's NKOTB!!!). I keep missing them over one thing or another. This time they're coming the week before Spring Break so there's no way I can get down to Portland to see them But seriously thanks for thinking of me - that's so sweet!

Not sure about our planning session yet. We are turning in our room block info tomorrow, so I guess we will be assigned our coordinator after that. We are hoping the beginning of May since we have loads of busy weekends the end of may and all thru june. it would be tough for us to get down there then...

Hello from the frozen arctic where last weeks low was -42. 3 months left until Florida!!

Some good things to update the PJ with today. I did manage to get in contact with Randy from LeJeune. I think the problem was that I switched my email address at the same time I was trying to get in contact with him (I worked as a music director of a radio station up here until this winter and I've been transitioning from that email to Gmail). So I'm all set for the morning of May 19th, before I have my shoot with the Roots!

I also got an email from my WC Pam that my contract will be coming to me on 2/12!! I'm wicked excited and can't wait to get my hands on the planning materials. I feel like I'm the last of the fall brides to sign the contract, but I'm sure I'm not... right? lol!

I've been really busy in my "real" life - I'm going into my last (thank GOD) year of college, completing my BSW (Bachelor of Social Work). I have to do a small intership this semester (100 hrs by May), Work 20 hrs a week, School and occasionally see the DF. Oh yeah and did I mention plan a wedding?! I do my field placement (500 hrs) next semester and I'm going to have to figure out a way to tell them that I'll be MIA for 2 weeks in October (one of them is school vacation though). Haven't figured that one out yet though.

I've picked up a few things for the wedding. LMK what you think!!

I got this zip up hoodie for 10 dollars at Fashion Bug. I'm going to save it for the honeymoon. I've bought Rob an entirely new wardrobe for the h-moon, but I have nothing new other than my wedding t shirt. So yay! I'll be warm at night

See all that stuff there? I got it for less than $2 at Claire's up here. Unfortunately they closed the one up here and they did a 75% off deal. I'm not sure if we'll end up using the hair crystals, but it's good to have them just in case we decide to. The earrings are for MOH, Jr.BM, and FG.

I had originally decided on Mickey Mouse cufflinks for all the men in the wedding. The only ones I could find that I liked were 50 a piece. So we're talking 200 just in cufflinks! Someone posted that www.americanbridal.com was having a huge sale 50% off clearance. I saw these and knew I had to buy them for FOB, BM and FOG. I originally wanted a Patriots wedding so I'm trying to get football into this wedding in small things like this! They're small enough so they don't scream football, but we'll know they're there. Oh and did I mention - 8 dollars for each pair? Woot woot!!

I originally wanted the Adirondack chair placecard holders that I posted a few days back. When I was looking on American Bridal I found these. They're pewter shells and for 72 I paid less than 30.00!

2 more weeks until I get back home! I'm sure I'm going to be wedding shopping while I'm down there and I'll post that stuff when I get back.

I've got a wedding website started with wedding window that I'm going to work on today while I have some time. As soon as it's done I'll post the link so you all can give your two cents!

Hey Ms. Meg!! I'm sorry I haven't dropped by lately, I've been so busy, it seems like one day runs into the next, and the next thing I know it's a month later!!

Your planning seems to be going along so nicely!! I love all the goodies you've picked up so far, and love the shell place card holders! I had to laugh when I read that you bought Rob a new wardrobe for the HM!! I started picking up Gregg clothes last fall when all the summer stuff went on sale!!

I feel for you and the horrible cold....bet you can't wait till May huh? You believe on Saturday I can make our 90 day PS ressies? Yay!! I guess you'll be making some yourself huh? I meant to ask you before...are you guys registered on the Disney Honeymoon Registry?

We're not doing Pats jerseys in this one. I want something slightly different for the Roots ones. We're both probably going to be in shorts, sandals and Birkenstock sandals. But what exactly? Not sure. Probably will be discussing it with Jensey and see what she thinks based on the location. Which we also need help with! (Oh they're going to LOVE us! lol)

I didn't even watch the Super Bowl - how sad is that?! I didn't like either team and I'm still bitter about the Cardinals, not the Pats getting in the playoffs, when the Pats had the better record. BAH!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you for next year!! How awesome would that be!!

It's completely insane how quick time is going by - I'm so excited for you with your wedding coming up so soon! Yes I'm very much excited for May - warmth!!

Isn't it funny how we buy the men stuff, and we don't remember to get stuff for ourselves? I've got one sweatshirt and one t-shirt. Rob's got an entire new wardrobe! I've got this one health and wellness one credit class I have to take over the summer, where you have to work out 2 hours a day for 3 weeks, 5 days a week. At the end of that, I better have lost some weight, so I'm going to hold off on buying anything new until after that.

I'm really bummed about the shell place card holders!! They were out of stock, so they gave me a refund. Which is great because I basically got the cufflinks for 8.00 for the three sets. But still! I'm going to have to go back to the Adirondack chairs unless I find something else.

I'm going home to Massachusetts on Saturday so we'll have to see what I come home with from wedding shopping down there! I'm so excited!

Oh yeah before I blither on too much - No we haven't registered yet with the Honeymoon Registry. We haven't made our October reservations yet Our WC told us to wait until we got the Annual Passes and get the discount through there. We also heard some rumblings that the 4-3 deal may be continued into October. So we're going to wait only to the end of the month and reserve then - I refuse to wait any longer!

One of our wedding favors is going to be a personalized CD! We're going to buy these labels

and make them ourselves. So I've been working on the mix. I wanted the songs to span the beginning of our relationship to the wedding. I wanted a mix of songs - the eclectic to the well known. Here's the first draft

Meg, that's so cute!! I thought about doing CDs for my favors, but with 200 guests I was thinking it would be way too much of a PITA. Awesome cd though!!! I love the Uncle Jesse song!!!!
