Meeting VMK Staff In Real

Is it possible to meet VMK staff at a park because 1 time I went the parks and I went to VMK central and a lady their said she was a VMK staff and gave me free cards, a pirate room card and a gold mickey ear code card. She said she was a VMK HOST_ she was tall-ish tan skinny dirty blond hair and crystal blue eyes she has a black mickey ear cap on too. If you want proof of the room and the hat you can come buy. This was before I started VMK but thats how I started playing. There are other people on VMKMagic that have also reported they have seen a staff too. Do you think it was a VMK HOST_? I don't know how to prove it but the items I got from her were gold mickey ears and a Pirate Central room, if you want to see the items please PM me so we can arrange a meeting. I am sure she didn't work there because she didn't wear a uniform

nope she said she was just visiting the parks to visit

Sorry to burst another bubble of yours, but true VMK staff members do not work at VMK Central at either park.

And even if you "happened" to run into a staff member in the park, they sure as heck aren't going to tell you that

someone else on another forum had an encounter with that same staff member...she said which staff it was, but the mods on that forum edited it. Funny, she used almost that exact description, too...

Just wondering but what exactly do you mean when you say you got nailed for saying your title? Did they yell at you or something?

How would she be able to give out cards, if she did not work at the shop where they gave out gold ears, it would be quite difficult to obtain them.

I've run into several staff members in DLR. Most of the times, I knew they were staff because they had the visiting company badge on. Several of those times they were in the "cave" and were getting feedback from players about what they thought. HOWEVER, they NEVER said WHO they were or that they actually worked as IN-GAME staff. Even Yavn himself (who I met there twice) never said who he was, even when asked. I only found out who he was because I have a CM friend who worked there and she told me after the fact who he was. The other times when they weren't wearing the badge, I only found out who they were, again, from my CM friend.

I met a member of the online VMK staff at Innoventions at DLR. For obvious reasons, I will not be more specific.

I would be surprised, however, if they introduced themselves in the way you described. That did not take place when we met.

You can give your VMK title to people in RL. You just can't give your RL title to people in VMK. I have given my title to more people that I have met at VMK Central than I can count. Cast members never once said a thing. In the case of some of those people, we connected in game and have been on each other's friends lists ever since.

Yup, I was given a big lecture by a cast member there in front of a big group no less about how I should never give out my VMK name to anyone... sigh...

And lets not forget the bashing you got for wearing the VMK t-shirts you made. Well I made them too but had a jacket over them.

Yes they did not want us sharing our VMK infor during the tour but we snuck around it anyways.
