Meeting the characters?

I'm going to Disney next week. My kids would love to meet Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy. When will Pete's silly sideshow reopen? Is there anywhere else to meet the fab 5? I know Epcot used to have a place to meet them. Looking for any info. Thanks.

You can meet the fab 5 all over Epcot. Pluto and Goofy by spaceship earth, Mickey in the lobby of short films next to imagination, Minnie in the gazebo at the entrance to world showcase, Donald outside between Mexico and Norway and Daisy on the bridge near international gateway between UK and France.

Not sure if you are interested, but have you thought about a character dining? I think Chef Mickeys at the Contemporary, Topolinos Terrace at the Riviera and Tusker House at Animal Kingdom have most of the fab 5.

Absolutely! There is a function in the my Disney experience app that may help while you’re there. If you go to the map page and change “wait times” to “characters” at the top it’ll show you on the map exactly where they should be on any given day. Of course, weather permitting.

You can also meet Mickey and Minnie together at Town Square Theatre in Magic Kingdom, and Chip and Dale in Storybook Circus in MK as well! It's not the same as a meet, but the main Mickey gang - Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale all have a cavalcade at MK throughout the day too.

I also think Mickey and Minnie meet together at Hollywood Studios (Commissary Lane) and Animal Kingdom (Adventurers Outpost) and it seems like Pluto is meeting at Animation Courtyard with some other characters. Hollywood Studios also has some character sightings with Chip and Dale at the Brown Derby lawn, Daisy and Donald at Hollywood Boulevard, and Goofy at the Tower of Terror!

It’s so much easier to do the character breakfast to meet the fab 5. Otherwise You may spend a lot of time In Line to meet everyone. Pick the breakfast that has the most to offer and anyone left, plan to meet in the park.
