The Canaveral Port Authority published its forecast for 2026. Under the section about cruise line revenue is the following statement.
Cruise Revenue

Cruise revenue, including parking revenue, is estimated to be $200.4M. This is based on 1,083 multi-

day calls consisting of 994 home port calls and 89 port of calls.

Royal Caribbean (RCI) is forecasted to have 255 homeport calls with three year-round services and

two seasonal services. The three year-round services are Star, Utopia, Adventure. The Star replaces

the Wonder in FY26. The seasonal services include Explorer and Harmony. Additionally, RCI is

scheduled for 45 ports of calls (Oasis, Vision, Odyssey, and Symphony).

Carnival is projected for 282 homeport calls with four year-round services. These services include

Mardi Gras, Freedom, Glory and Vista. The Glory and Freedom will both be on dry dock for a portion

of the year, losing 15 and 9 calls, respectively. The seasonal service includes one ship (Venezia).

Disney is scheduled for 229 homeport calls with three year-round services for the Wish, Fantasy, and

Treasure.

Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) is scheduled for 99 homeport calls with year-round service

for the Seashore. In December 2025, the Grandiosa begins seasonal service. MSC is scheduled for

28 ports of calls (Meraviglia).

Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL) is forecasted for 70 homeport calls with seasonal services for the Prima

and Joy. Additionally, NCL is scheduled for 6 port of calls (Breakaway).

Other cruise lines that are seasonal are as follows: Princess (Caribbean Princess and Sky Princess)

and Celebrity (Apex), with a total of 61 homeport calls for these two lines.
Note that they expect DCL to have three ships home ported there, Wish, Fantasy and Treasure.

That'll mean discounts galore on the Wish, unless the itineraries between the fantasy and the wish are dramatically different. I say this as a person who really enjoys the Wish, but if the fantasy is doing practically the same itineraries or slightly better for the same cost or a lower cost, my bank account will put me on the fantasy.

It will certainly be interesting to see the itineraries of the three ships. Guessing at least one of them will be 7-night alternating Easter and Wester Caribbean. Another (Wish?) would do the typical 3/4 night sailings to Bahamas and private island. So what does that leave for the 3rd ship? Perhaps longer 5/6 night sailings? Were would they go?

I'm sure that the Treasure and Wish will continue to do what they're doing now. Those ships are the replacements for the Fantasy and Dream at PC.

I don't know what the Fantasy will do, though. Probably something boring.

When I looked at early 2026, the fantasy is doing a mix of 4 and 5 night sailings?

Hope this is true. Our favorite ship is the Fantasy. Also hoping for longer itineraries - wish there were more than one 10 night sailing.

Fantasy is also doing both Lookout and Castaway in the same sailing.... too me that much better than Nassau and Castaway.

Or that's what it's doing next September... that we have booked.

Yep, that’s what she is doing but a lot of those are midweek like Thursday- Tuesday. With Wish doing M-F 4 nights, F- M 3 nights.

Thursday- Tuesday probably doesn’t appeal to non Florida residents with probably having to go down on Wednesday. Rather have the weekend to travel

Yep - we are doing the 5 night Lookout/Castaway double dip on Fantasy in early Feb 2026. Definitely a better route than Nassau.
