meeting the characters

also have been to dlp when ds was 2 and hated it he was totally pushed aside at all character meets

You'll see that WDW is very different.
Character meets are well organised and CMs do keep people in line.

DLP meets are just a crying shame

its been so long since i was a wdw and i was 18 lat time i went so dont think i did much character stuff , first time going as a parent so whole new experience !

137 days to go

We didn't have kids with us the last time we went (honeymoon) but we still queued up to see the characters!

The princesses and Mary Poppins surprised me the most, they chatted with us for aaaaaages... We felt bad for the people behind us in the queue, but if the character themselves is taking that long, who are we to argue? :thumbsup2

We did the same on our Honeymoon :rotfl2: Got their Autographs too! This will be the first time taking the kiddies and they will each have their own Autograph book, we will prob have pictures done as a group unless its a character dining where we might get some more relaxed shots of them separately. But I agree with everyone else I have never and would never complain about people having autographs/pictures separately because everyone has que'd up for their turn. Being very snap happy myself I say take as many memories as possible!!

Hi, we decided to do all our meeting characters at either Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. Sure it's not all the characters but it's the main ones my youngest wants to meet pretty much, anyway the questions is. Will they sign autographs if he takes his book (that we will buy on Sunday) in the restaurants during the rounds they do table to table?

Yes they will and they can pose for photos. I ordered my DD autograph book off ebay. Personalised and has a white cover with mickey and minnie heads. Really good quality. Was £5.60 with postage. We have 5 or 6 wdw blue ones so wanted something different.
Sounds like you are there when we are. We fly tuesday. Hv a great time
