Meeting Spiderman

My ds will turn 5 while on our IOA trip. He is obssessed with Spiderman! I am wondering what his reaction will be when he meets him and he doesn't start shooting webs from his arms and swinging from building to building. What was your little guys (or girls) reaction? Thanks!

Tell him his web fluid is empty. The movie changed the whole web ordeal to genetics. In the comics, Spider-Man made his own web fluid and when he ran low, he changed web cartridges. Maybe Spidey himself will say that.

Actually, Spidey does shoot webs from his wrists. Witnesses report seeing him snare Robinrs in a web and swoop her up to the top of the Hulk, where the witnesses lost sight of her.

It was so much easier when my daughter turned 5. We booked breakfast at the castle and she dined with the princesses. They all showed up with lovely gowns and smiles. Super Heroes are a bit more complicated!

We saw Spiderman signing autographs a few times at IOA. The kids with him seemed to be in awe and actually said very little from what I saw. I wanted my 10 year old son to wait to meet him but he didn't want to.

He'll be able to see him shoot web on the ride. The way it's set up, with the 3-D and city facades , it's reasonable that a five year old will think it's all real.
