Meeting Spider-man and other Superheroes

We will have a 5.5-year-old boy with us on our upcoming trip to Islands of Adventure. How long should I expect lines to take when trying to meet Spider-Man and other Superheroes? I understand this can vary widely depending on the day and time of day, but let's just say around noon. Do the lines get pretty long? Thank you!

We saw very little lines for Spider man and the superheroes last week.......maybe an average of 10 -15 people in line for them. Sometimes less.

Although at a busier time I have no idea......parks were busy but not as busy as our last few days, crowds were really starting to build.

Spider man is a fabulous meet to have!!! Although they all are to be honest.

10 min tops for all superheros (although Capt America has become very popular, so he might be a little longer). Spider-Man is the quickest because he is available most of the day whereas the others are only out for short periods throughout the day. Green Goblin and Dr Doom are also out for 15 to 20 minute periods throughout the day.

We ran into Spiderman and his helper in the EP queue. He was just hanging out in the little office area.

Grab a time guide when you're in the park. When we were they they did not have all the times in the website. I was a little mystified on how they could have printed material more up to date than the website, but that was the deal. My son was the same age as yours and really enjoyed meeting all the superheroes. We both liked Wolverine the best - he was very grumbly and cranky. Capt was fun too. We waited maybe 10 mins for Spidey at about 10:30.
