So since my DH and daughter (age 6) haven't got a lot of patience, we're trying to meet a lot of the princesses through character meals. So this is a two part question:

1) Here's our plan for character meals:
Akershus - (question: Does Mulan do this one? She wants to meet Mulan, Snow White, Aurora, Jasmine, Ariel). Will this cover us or should we try for CRT? I think the menu would be better for her at Akershus.
1900 Park Fare (for Cinderella, big on her list)
Tusker house (because she loves Donald and Daisy)
Cape May Cafe (for Mickey, Minnie - not sure who else?)
Ohana's Best friends breakfast (for Lilo and Stitch)

2) Other princesses like Tiana and Merida aren't associated with a character meal as far as I know. How long do you have to wait to meet them? They are not available for Fastpass + like Anna and Elsa.

The problem you have is no princess is guaranteed to be at any character meal.
There are lists that are usual but any could be missing from a meal due to unforeseen circumstances.
If you go to a meal JUST to meet a specific Princess you may well find yourself very disappointed.

That warning given, we have seen Jasmine at Akershus one visit. We have seen Mulan at Akershus one visit.
Not at the same visit.
The only thing you can be sure of is you'll get 1 Princess to meet you out front, probably Belle in her yellow dress and you'll get 3, maybe 4 Princesses inside.
For CRT you'll get 1 Princess downstairs, probably Cinderella and you'll get 3 maybe 4 Princesses upstairs
It's which Princesses you can't know. It can be any

The princesses pop up in different spots, just keep an eye out. There's also a schedule you can check. Good plan getting the character meal reservations. That'll save a lot of waiting time. Have fun!

The problem is that there is a lot of overlap between the princesses found at CRT and Akershus. CRT is usually Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora, Ariel, and Jasmine. Akershus is usually Belle, Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora, and Ariel. Of course, characters seen can vary on any given day due to needing to sub for someone.

I would suggest doing Akershus, and then hitting up the WS as soon as characters come out (10 am? correct me if I'm wrong) to meet the ones on your shortlist that you might have missed.

We tried to meet Tiana and Merida but they were never out when we were in the area. They are on our must list for next time.

Kenny the Pirate has an excellent app for finding characters. I highly recommend it. We really did not wait too long for any characters. If you line up a few minutes before the times you should be good.

We saw Merida and Jasmine at CRT last summer. Never had the luck with Mulan at Akershus, always the same Cinderella, Ariel, Snow White and Princess Aurora for us. Mulan is also a must for our family--our tradition started when Mulan gave my elder one a kiss on her first visit. She is the only princess we would wait a 1/2 hr before the start M&G time.

The site that Robo linked is very helpful!

We've never seen Mulan at any character meal (we've done both Akershus and CRT a couple of times), but she was a big priority last trip - and will be again next trip! We went to see her at her M&G in Epcot and she was wonderful!! Definitely worth it if your little one is a fan! We got there a little early and I would recommend that - she definitely built up a wait, maybe because she's not a given at the princess meals.

Of the other character meals you listed, we've only done Ohana's Best Friends breakfast. We've done it multiple times and really enjoyed it! I like that it's family style, and not buffet, so you don't have to worry about missing any of the characters when you're in the buffet line! Stitch hams it up and generally we've had great character interactions there!

My youngest is a huge Mulan fan and the only place you are guaranteed to meet her is in Epcot for her scheduled Meet and Greet in the gardens of China. We have never seen her at any character meal (Akershus in 2012, Ariel's Grotto DCA 2015, CRT 2016) In my experience, Mulan and Tiana have short lines. In fact, this last trip we headed over to China for Mulan, waited for her to arrive, the line formed and was closed by CM handler within 5 minutes of her arrival. Same thing for Tiana in Liberty Square~ Tiana arrived and the CM started counting people in line, waited a few minutes and then closed the line. Merida's line can get a little long, but the longest we've waited was 20 min.

Yes, I remember I spoke to Mulan's CM handler on our way to breakfast, and he told me to get there a little before the scheduled time because the line would close. The day we were there she had a fairly long line...she was awesome!

She was awesome! We've been lucky to meet Mulan twice and both times felt like she is one of the better M&G experiences.

I agree! My DD8 (at the time) had on a Mulan inspired cotton dress (she's never like princess dresses - too scratchy!), so I think Mulan knew she was a serious fan! Mulan spent so much time with daughter, I almost became embarrassed that we were taking too much time, lol! She definitely brings honor to her family! She's definitely on this list for our April trip!

We met Mulan at Akershus for lunch at the end of September...no Snow White or Jasmine though...Belle, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel were also there.

We had lunch at Akershus on March 1 and the girls were: Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel (dress) and Belle meets you up front and does the picture.
For regular meet and greets, the MDE app will show you when someone has a next appearance. The handler will also tell you in case she closes the line.

My hubby and daughter waited abut 20 minutes for Mulan. For Merida, we missed one appearance and then got in line early for the next. We did the same thing with Tiana. You can FP Ariel in her fins.

I don't know if this is 100% ok, but my husband would wait for a meet and greet while my daughter and I rode a FP ride or did a quick attraction and then finished waiting. While waiting for Jasmine, I grabbed Dole Whips for us because it was getting hot.

CRT - met Cinderella for picture downstairs. Jasmine, Ariel, Snow White, and Aurora circulated around the room during the meal.

We waited 30-45 minutes to meet Merida. It was around 1-2p.

For Tiana we happened upon her M&G a few minutes before it started and waited 5-10 minutes. Since she was tucked back by the Christmas Store I don't think she had as much foot traffic.
