Wondering if anyone has tips or tricks in reference to meeting Peter Pan; my DD definitely wants to meet the DLR version as she has seen so many great guest interactions with him on various online platforms. I know the characters at DLR are more “free roaming” but any suggestions to increase our odds would be appreciated!

Thanks!

We have met him a few times at Minnie's breakfast - one time we book the very first time of the day and my kids spent a good 10 minutes with him - hanging out at our table. We have also seen him hanging around near pixie hollow but as a roaming character so you can chat with him and carry on but it's not a line up for pictures type deal.

I mostly see him hanging right side of the castle.. and near Pixie Hollow.. thats at Disneyland .. not sure where he would be at the world..

Peter Pan can sometimes be hard to track down at DL- but we have had a lot more success since the Disneyland App has existed. Look on the Disneyland App when you arrive in the morning. It should give you the times he is expected to be out and the approximate area. I would get to the area at, or a few minutes before, he is supposed to arrive. I would also ask a CM in the area where Peter Pan usually hangs out when he is in the area-- that really helped us with characters last year as at DL they are not always in the exact same spot. In our experience, Peter is not usually a line up for photos and autographs kind of meet. For example, last summer, we found where Peter Pan was going to be on the app and got there about 5 minutes before he was scheduled to come out. When he got there, in Peter Pan style he announced that he thought formal meetings were stuffy and boring and he didn't want to just stand there while people took pictures of him, he wanted to play. He then proceeded to play Hide and Seek and Red Light/Green light with the kids in the area and any adults he could get to join in for half an hour. DD had an absolutely wonderful time, and towards the end he did sign some autographs and pose for a few pictures with the kids that had stuck around and played with him.

We just got back from Disney and we saw him plenty of times.... mainly around the Teacups & pixie hollow areas

Love Peter Pan. He is hilarious. At our Minnie and Friends breakfast some kids were sitting at the table next to us and one was (perhaps annoyingly to some people) clicking his autograph pen over and over. Peter Pan was standing a little ways behind him and he starts clapping his hands and shouting "click more, click more, click more!" The kid's mouth was agape. It was sooooo funny. I also once saw him march up to a little kid who was crying, put his hands on his hips and say very sternly "Hey, there's no crying at Disneyland!" She was so shocked she stopped crying immediately much to the amusement of everyone around her.

My daughter had a goal of meeting him last week. We staked him out by the tea cups (based on the time the app said he was coming out). We caught him twice as he was skipping up from the Matterhorn area into Fantasyland. He wasn’t really stopping but dd slipped up to him and asked for a photo. He stopped in front of tea cups, posed and then skipped away. He’s quick though...the first time she saw him (also coming from the same direction) she couldn’t catch him. :-)

We were sitting on a bench by Matterhorn when he came skipping up and sat down with my granddaughter for about 5 mins just talking.

Great, thanks for all the info! Have the app downloaded and will plan on hanging around the general vicinity a bit before the posted times. Here is hoping for a fun and successful interaction! :)

Every time we've been in Fantasyland during the first hour after regular park opening, Peter Pan is there. Often hanging around Dumbo, Pinocchio, or Snow White attractions.

We've always caught him near the teacups in the morning - he's always stopped to get a quick pic with us.

We've seen him both as a free-roaming character by the Pinocchio ride and as a set M&G (he was over by the entrance to Pixie Hollow). The M&G was particularly fun because Hook showed up about halfway through.
