Meeting Mulan

Could anyone help me? My family is going to WDW Oct 27 - Nov. 3 and we are going to MNSSHP on Oct. 31. This is a wish for my DD8 from the Children's Wish Foundation . She is dressing up as Mulan and I would like to know where is the most likely place that she could meet Mulan. I know she would get a big kick out of meeting her. Any ideas, suggestions?

We met Mulan this past August at the Princess Storybook Breakfast in Norway, in Epcot's World Showcase. We also met her again (DD4 favorite, too) in the China pavillion. Mulan and Mushu were posing for pictures there and there was a photopass photographer there as well.

When you are in Epcot, ask a CM when Mulan will be appearing. I'm sure they can give you exact time for that day.

I was going to say that the most likely spot to find her is at the China pavillon in Epcot. That is where my sister and I found her in January with Mushu. My sister also found her there in October 2005. You can find the other princess throughout World Showcase.

Let the Childrens Wish Foundation know how much she wants to meet Mulan and I am sure they will help work it out. Have fun!

We met Mulan and Mushu in the China Pavilion just last week. They are there most days, but you may need to check the times. For the Make A Wish program, I believe I've heard in the past that they can arrange a special one-on-one meeting with a character (in this case Mulan). You may want to include that in the request, but if not there is a great chance you will still see her there. Have a wonderful trip!

As has been said before make sure the MAW people know that is part of her wish. China in Epcot is the most likely location and the best thing to do is to stop by Guest Services when you enter the park and find out exactly when she will be there.

Also, you can usually check in with CM's during the day if they are at a location with a phone and ask if they can call and find out if Mulan is out or will be out before you go over there.

I haven't seen it mentioned so I thought I would throw in that we met Mulan at MGM by the sorcerer's hat. She was there with Pocahantas. We were so excited because she is DD's favorite princess! I am not sure how often she truns up there but it is another place you can check. Good luck!

Mulan is hit or miss at the hat, but she is in the MGM parade. Of course, you can't meet her there and such, but it is still fun to see her in it. As others have said, the China Pavillion in Epcot is your best bet. (BTW, Mulan is my 8 yo dd's favorite "princess," too. I put it in quotes because if you tell Mulan she is your favorite princess, she will point out that she is not a princess. My dd wants to get a pic with her in her warrior outfit, but I don't think she ever makes an appearance in that.)
