Meeting Elsa and Anna at Rope Drop during EMH

Has anyone tried this? We are going to WDW during the last week of March, and every day has EMH for MK. We definitely want to try to meet E&A, but are staying for free off-site. IF we can't get fastpasses, what is the line like at Rope drop during EMH? We are staying at an off-site that allows us to attend EMH, fwiw and 7:30 is no problem for my early risers! Sorry, I'm rambling a bit, but all of this has changed since we were there in April!

Didn't try for Anna and Elsa, but we wanted to meet other characters at RD in June. It seemed that no one was out for meeting until around 9:30-10am (even though website said 9am).

co-workers going early March and staying offsite too. 2 daughters are hoping for M&G with Anna & Elsa. I hope others can give me an idea of their experiences getting a FP+ or the standby wait times
