Meeting characters at CA when raining??

Hello,
We are heading to California Adventure tomorrow and it will be pouring. My kiddos really want to see Donald Duck, Minnie, Spider-Man.
Will characters still be out when it is pouring?

During a rain day in fall the Buena Vista Street gang was meeting in the lobby of Carthay Circle restaurant. They were alternating, sometimes solo, sometimes duo. That's where you'd find Donald and Minnie. It was pouring pretty bad when I met them.

Spider-Man and the Marvel characters may not come out when it's raining. I saw Captain America under the awning of the former Muppet Theater the same day, but it was only drizzling very slightly at that point. I was trying to catch Black Panther during the heavier rain and he only came out for one set once the clouds let up a little.

The characters move around to indoor locations like carthay circle or the camera shop on Buena Vista Street or places that are fully under coverings.
