We arrive at DL in 36 days! My DD just decided that she wants to meet Anna and Elsa on the morning of her birthday. Has anyone done this recently? Any tips, or specifics I should know? It will be on a day that does not have EMH or magical morning entry. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer. We are WDW regulars, and this will only be our second trip to DL. °O°

Our family went 3 Sundays ago. We were there for rope drop and immediately lined up at Main Street. Look out for the CM's holding up paddles with Anna and Elsa. The line waits where the Walt and Mickey statue are veering left. They allow this line before anyone else. If u have a stroller, just park it next to the carousel because you cannot bring it in the line. The park opened at 8am and we were talking to Anna and Elsa by 8:40!!! Much better than 3 1/2 to 4 hours! Good luck and enjoy!

What about the time changes it says Anna and Elsa will be doing meet and greets at 10AM not 8 or 9AM anymore so what to do now?

We were there last week ans on our last day we set out to meet Elsa and Anna. We were at te gates at 8am for a 9am opening. At about 8:30 they had the countdown and let folks into mainstreet and the rope drop. My 2 teenage boys(who were the ones who wanted pictures!) set off on a very quick purposeful walk towards the signs for the meet and greet. A mama with a stroller and a toddler scooped us for first in line - and they did let her in line with the stroller-and we were second. It was perfect that the little girl was first because a cast member took her hand and led her thru the caste before the rope was dropped for the rest of fantasyland! She was in her frozen dress and it was precious! The time with Elsa and Anna was really personal and fun-not rushed at all. Get there early and enjoy!

Fabulous! Thank you so much everyone! My DD is turning 11 that day so there won't be a stroller for us :). Looks like we will just get to the turnstile extra early and head look for the line. Luckily we will be there the day before as well so we can double check that they are still meeting at park opening and make a plan. Thank you! °O°

Does anyone have any experience with the Anna and Elsa meet and greet while being on an ECV? Are ECVs allowed in the line? Or should I have DD join the line and I ride on the street next to her?

Just a heads up, but when I was there today I was informed that tomorrow (9/2) they would be testing out a new process for queuing guests to meet Anna and Elsa but she wasn't sure the exact details on it - only that it would hopefully involve something like a Fast Pass. So what everyone has gorwn accustomed to might be different in 36 days ;)

really? we will be there next week, dl on tuesday.

I wasn't able to be there at park opening today because of a dentist appointment but I did stop in this afternoon for a short while. Unfortunately I can't speak to what they did in the early hours, but the direction that I was given was to check in with a CM beneath two maroon (if I remember correctly, which sometimes I don't) umbrellas they have positioned just to the right of the queue entrance for Anna and Elsa which is where they will be giving out return windows, similar to a FP.

Be aware though, depending on how long they keep this new process (I was under the impression it was a trial and could easily change from day to day or next week to see what works and what doesn't), that the times will book up FAST. I was in the park around ... 11 am and it's pretty understandable all of their return windows were booked for the day.

Interesting..this sounds just like the system they're using for A&E at MK for guests without a FP+.

Thank you very much for the Update! Let see if this actually works out for them , or translates the problem to even bigger pre lines so you can grab a spot.

But yeah it's not fun standing in line for 2, 3 or 4 hours!

This seems not to be a "real" Fastpass, (You get it from a person, not a machine, and it has only a 20 minute window.) but as far as I know, this is the first time Disneyland Park has ever had such a timed ticket for a meet 'n greet.

Looks like a good system. Hopefully it will cut down on the crazy dads running through mainstreet! I can see there being problems with only having a 20 min window though. We saw them last week during MM and got out of there in 15 minutes. The interaction was great - Anna called DH and I "love experts" since we had Anniversary buttons.

this looks promising. thanks for posting!

What IF a party of people go to get tickets and they grabbed them all?

You can get this fast pass ticket using your regular ticket or is it for annual pass holders only?

How will this ticket system work? Will you have to get in line and be escorted to the area just to get a ticket?

Since there are these tickets will there be a ticket line and a regular line?
