DH and I figured out how to get the USB Streaming to work by hooking up our video camera to the computer! Now I can show you a small clip of our dive in the Living Seas at Epcot!!!

Ok y'all, I was really excited this morning when I posted this! You guys, all 37 of you that have viewed my post, have totally bummed me out! Couldn't at least ONE of you commented on my video clip? #1, I was really really proud of this dive. It was my very first open water dive since getting certified in October. #2, I was really happy to be able to share it with the DISers here! C'mon, somebody give me a little kudo or some feedback, won't you PLEASE??? :::: pout, pout ::::

Magic, I'm sorry you're having trouble viewing it! Maybe that was everyone else's problem, too.

and Majestic - my 12 yo son took the video!!! And sorry about the shortness of it, I wish I could upload one that was at least a minute or so, but until I convince DH that we need to pay to increase our server space, that's what I'm limited to. That short, 15 second clip is nearly 6 mb!

I saw it! Way Cool!!

I love rays. I have a picture of my son when he was 2 kissing a ray through the glass at the Florida Aquarium. The ray was "sucking" the glass and his little "face" was showing, so my son gave him a kiss. Really cute! It is one of my favorite pictures.

I also had a ray come right up my pregnant belly in Grand Cayman once. She was as wide as my arms and I had to push her back into the water. The guide said she must have known I was pregnant (how could you NOT! lol... I looked 8 months). It was neat!

Was that different from the Epcot Seas Aqua Tour?
I want to give my son that one for Christmas.

Yes, DiveQuest (what we did) is different than the Aqua Seas Tour. For DiveQuest, you have to be scuba-certified. You don't have to be for the AS Tour. It's scuba-assisted snorkeling; they don't allow you to go down under the water very deep, or for very long, just as if you were snorkeling. You don't wear a BCD, you just have an air tank. I bought that tour for my husband and son in August when we went, and they loved it.
