Meet our two foster kittens: George & Gracie

These two were going to be abandoned when my DD rescued them. She really could not afford to keep them, so we are taking care of them until we find them a new home.

They are brother and sister, so we are going to get them adopted together because they even use the litter box together.

It has been a while since we had little ones and they are so sweet together. They are so funny the way they play. Gracie has a habit of nipping George on the bottom when they go up the cat stand.

This is kitten season..and it started early and looks to be a big one. Thanks so much for taking these guys in!
You might want to check with the rescue groups in your area to get low cost spay and neuter for these two, so the cycle can be stoped. Most do it between 2 1/2 and 3 pounds or 3 months old (they gain about 1/4 of a pound a week). You can find the groups by either checkign with your local shelter, or on petfiner.com.
Love the names..I used them a few years ago, but most people were too young and didn't get it. Your kittens are so cute!

I'm much closer to you (LOL)..I have adorable, well behaved 8 week olds, an orange and a deep tiger, Harvey and Hooper. Their owner moved out and abondoned them, their mother and a couple other cats. If you don't like those colors, we have 19 kittens to choose from in our rescue group right now up and coming. They'll all be vacc'd, s/n. checked for FIV and Feluk before adopted.
(Sorry, don't mean to steal your thread, but hey, I need to take advantage if someone wants to adopt LOL!).

I could easily become the "cat lady" on the block if I had the space. Right now, I have 2 but our youngest we found abandoned on a golf course last summer. When we took her to the vet, she was 24 hours from death. The vet estimated her age at about 5 weeks. She weighed 5 ounces. She is my baby. She is now coming up on 1 year old and she weighs 4 pounds. She is tiny little baby but we love her. Her best friend, my other cat is 17 pounds. They play and wrestle as if she was a big cat just like her buddy! If I had the space, I could have 20 more. I would probably have to give up my husband though!

Such cute babies. I am the cat lady on my road. I have 3 indoor cats, 3 wild porch cats and 3 semi wild deck cats. They are labeled depending on where they get fed. All are strays. All are spayed or neutered. Before we discovered the free clinics at the local SPCA, we sunk a few hundred dollars into them.
We go through a lot of cat food.

Ummmm, I am in Panama City Beach, if you could PM me and tell me the area in PC that you are, if you REALLY want to find them forever homes I might be interested. I would need to find out how to get them spayed and neutered and shots up to date for a reasonable price, but I am falling in love with them just with pictures!

We use the wellness coupons, so our wet food ends up being .29 with tax:

We really love them, but with the brood we have right now, we just can't afford to keep them for too long. We currently have 8 of our own, only 1 was not a stray.

My DH came up with George & Gracie. We wanted names of a couple and he thought of Gracie. We actually almost changed them to Puglsey and Wednesday. But those didn't fit.

I actually think the George & Gracie reference from the Star Trek Movie was to the same couple.

Adorable! I have a 16 year old tabby and a 9 month old calico....it's interesting around here, lol. I wish my dh would let me have a few more...I took in the tabby when she was 1 from a co worker who couldn't take care of her anymore and my best friend brought my youngster from Missouri when her cats had kittens.

Oh my goodness! Too cute! We have a Gracie also! She is 15 and still acts like a kitten. She looks a little bit like George!
