Prologue: Getting With The Times
Times truly change.
I wrote my first WDW trip report here on the DIS back in 2001. Like most of the reports of the time, it was fairy brief and straightforward. It basically outlined what attractions, restaurants, entertainment, etc. I had done on the trip and inserted a few photos of the trip I had scanned (which was somewhat of a novelty in trip reports in the days before everyone had a digital camera). There was no cast list or mention of others that I was vacationing with, slim to no storytelling elements, and, like every other report I can recall reading back then, no pre-trip report.
Times really have changed, havent they?

And here it it!

Well, enough with talking about the report- you want to hear about the trip! Ill be getting to more detail in the next few posts, but I will say that itll be a true family vacation at with Mom, Dad, and their grown sons Meeko (me, of course) and Buzz. Weve been going to WDW together for more than 20 years now, and even though Buzz and I are all grown up, we still enjoy hitting the parks and keeping the tradition of visiting Disney as a family alive. Weve got reservations for a three night stay at the Caribbean Beach and are set to arrive next month!
Well, I hope thats enough of an intro for now. Stay tuned to meet the family.
