I have ''lunch time'' on my private tour but hope to cut that to on the run to see more, we can always catch up eating somewhere, maybe, on the ship, later.
You guys are CRAZY!!! You will never see everything, take it easy simplify have lunch relax enjoy!:hippie:

Ok – I just called DCL again and this time “Dee” advised that it is not 12:01am it is more like 8:00AM – and – I also asked her to confirm that it is EST, and she said twice yes, EST.

Sorry to post incorrect info before – but that is what I received from DCL – although – I think I will call one more time to ask this question as the date gets closer – I may just try at 12:01 am that night/morning anyway!

Sometimes it seems that different cast members have different answers.

I AM SO CONFUSED!!

Let me know if anyone hears anything different.

Thanks,
Sherri

I just called DCL and was told it is 12:01 am. And then I said 12:01 ET, 12:01 CT or 12:01 PT. And was told 12:01 ET.

I've found that I've gotten different answers to the same questions when I've called DCL in the past. You would think they would all have the same information.

I am not sure what DCL keeps telling everyone, but this is from recent experience. We booked our excursions on 3/02/2007 and I was not able to book until 3:01am EST. Castaway Club members on our cruise were able to book on 3/18/07 and as I stated before they were not able to book until 4:01am EST. The later hour was due to the time change happening earlier this year. I don't know if DCL has corrected this problem or not. HTH

Sorry if this has been brought up before, but I need some help about Olbia/Sardinia. We have an excursion booked; Aggius and the Ethnographic Museum. But after adding up all of our excursions and the costs, the question is do we really want to pay almost $900 for a 4.5 hours tour. (6 people in our group)

Is anyone planing to just get off and do their own thing? We don't want go to the beach. Maybe just tour the city.

Any good websites or info regarding the city?

Thanks!
Jennifer

About Rome!! I was on 2002 for Bussiness and we got to see everything we wanted to see in a day. We stayed infront of the Pantheon, this is walking distance to the Trevi Fontain and spanish steps. Then we took a public bus to the Colisseum, taking another public bus to the Vatican. We were finished like at 3PM. Hope this help.

Can I ask if it is better to take the bus or the subway?

Unless Disney has changed their policy since February 25 (the date CC members could book excursions for the May 26 sailing), it is 12:01 AM Pacific Time, which translates to 3:01 AM Eastern Time. Trust me on this one! That is when I booked ...and for us easterners 3AM is VERY late or VERY early, depending on ow you look at it ;-)

Last year, we spent a week in Rome and used buses, metros, and taxis. Which one
"is better" depends on where you start and where you're going.

Can't answer for you, but, if you were going to Europe on your own, would you make a special trip to Sardinia just to go to those places? If they don't mean that much to you, are they anywhere worth near $900? If not, hit the beach and forget the tour.

Thanks Woody. We are planning to take the excursion that will take us into Rome and we will then go on our own. I am not sure where the drop off and pick up point will be, but it seems like the Metro will also get you close to most of the tourist sites.

Having gotten up at 1 a.m. (MDT) this morning (4/2/07) to book, I can tell you that it is currently 12 am PDT/1 am MDT/2 am CDT/3 am EDT. If there were any daylight savings time issues with the system, they've been corrected.

For those who have already booked their excursions with DCL.

Which excursions were sold out and the most popular?

Hi everyone,

I would also love to know if anyone is booking a private guide for Obia, Sardegna - if so, would you mind sharing? ;)

or

Do you think we can grab a taxi to take us to a beach?
