Someone on my FB sells Advocare and her posts make it seem like she is brainwashed into a cult. That alone is enough to turn me off it!

I did Weight Watchers and LOVED it. It is an awesome way to adopt a healthy lifestyle. I did it while breastfeeding and my supply wasn't affected because you aren't depriving yourself of calories/nutrition like some of these crazy shake fads.
 
I wish you the best with whatever program you choose! However, IF you choose MF, I highly recommend you stick with it and transition the Medifast way. The only people who are successful with MF, and keep the weight off, are those that follow the program until the end. This includes the full 6 week transition program. Save the WW for maintenance. YMMV

I second this. WW and Medifast are two completely different ways of eating and are not interchangeable. I did Medifast about 7 years ago, lost 60 pounds in less than 6 months and then struggled to stick to the diet. I gained it all back within 4 months. You will lose weight quickly, but you will gain it back faster. It is very hard to stick to and even harder to restart. I did like it when I was on the diet and was successful. I was never hungry and found certain foods that I liked and stuck to them. It used to be much cheaper than it is now too. They used to always have coupon codes, but they are few and far between now for returning customers.

Haha it's funny you say that because I've met some Advocare advisors that I felt were in a cult too. I am not that way, my take is if you want my advice great, if not that's ok too. It's not for everyone, however I've seen enough people on it that I know it can work.
