Hubby wants to go to Medieval Times. Anyone been there? Last year we went to Arabian Nights and I would not recommend it although the children, and hubby, enjoyed it.
Is the Medieval dungeon too scary for 4 and 8 year old?

Entree was bland, dessert was an apple flavored hockey puck and the show was loooong. Perhaps it would've been better if our seats hadn't been in the furthest corner of the arena in the 2nd to last row. I rank it slightly ahead of Pirates (at least the food at MT was recognizable as food) but below Arabian Nights and well below Dixie Stampede.

I'll swing the opposite way. We had alot of fun with this show. The kids got a real kick of actually being "allowed and encouraged" to boooo, lol. We went a few years ago so I can't really recall the food, it couldn't have been bad, I would have remembered that. You can always find great coupons if you search. You should never pay full price.

The dungeon isn't very big, I don't think it would scare anyone. We had good seats although a fairly useless knight, lol. All in all, it was a fun night. The kids really enjoyed it and for us, thats what counted.

I take it you did NOT care for the Pirates show? Can you expand on that? We were seiously considering taking our 12 and 9 year old sons to that show in February?

What were the positives (if any) and negatives you experienced with it?

Sorry for the hijack :)

Our family really ejoyed it. They are boys and loved the sword fighting!!! I don't remember the food so it could not have been that bad.

We've done this one too and had a really good time. The show is bright colourful and fast paced. They often involve the kids in the show. Mine were given a jacket and were part of the "fighting" in the end. My kids were about a yr older than yours so its a good age to go. The kids really had a fun time here. Again, look for discounts, they are everywhere. If your boys are into pirates, they will probably love it. My DS spent most of his souvineer money at this place LOL

Good to hear some of you have enjoyed this show! Both our kids think pirates are cool, so we felt they'd get a kick out of the Pirate show... but I've got some concern now after PammyK's apparent unhappiness with it. I'd love to here her take on why she ranks it so low.
