Medieval Dinner Show

We're thinking of booking for this (two boys, 9 and 10) - anybody been to it and what's your opinion?

we went to it about 3 years ago.
it is very good and your kids will enjoy it!
there are if i can remember about 5 different knights, and depending on where you are sitting you are on that knights team. so when he jousts and fights etc, you cheer him on!
the food is served in the middle of the show, and there are no knives and forks either!! its all good fun though

There are actually six knights, who do battle amongst themselves first of all to win the right to fight the Black Knight at the end. This was the scenario 3 years ago and, as far as I know, it hasn't changed. It's a very good show and the food is better than average. Anyway, you'll be too caught up in your knight's fortunes (or misfortunes as the case may be!) to care what they set in front of you!! Go enjoy!!

We were there in April this year and had a really fun time!

My DS 10 wanted to go and we were a bit dubious. DH winced when he paid for the tickets and we weren't expecting good food - but it was all very good indeed.

We ate vegetable soup and garlic bread, half a roast chicken each, a small rib, baked potato and corn on the cob, followed by apple pastry and coffee. We were given beer or soft drinks on demand.

The show was very good and we had a great time because we joined in. The horses are beautiful, seating comfortable and the staff are friendly enough. They do try to sell you photos and videos but its not hard sell.

Overall I'd say its a fun night out - DS loved it and the rest of us had a good enough time to make it value for money.

One of the better Dinner Shows. Keep an eye out for the food and drinks though as the servers often leave people out. We always have to ask for extra drinks, etc.
