Medical scissors

I have a pair of scissors I use foe medical reasons. I store them with all my other medical supplies and will need them while in the park. Will I be able to get them in or would security consider them a weapon and take them at bag check?

Have had normal fullsized scissors in my bags for over 7 years on about 98% of my park visit. Never ever had one question, let alone need to explain or an issue.

This is good to know. I am very nervous about this trip. I have not been to WDW with all these medical issues. I am not comfortable with bag check. I know I will be spending a lot of time in First Aid and I worry I wont get the DAS that I need and this is such an important trip for me and my children.
