To the OP -- honestly, Valtrex is used so commonly for cold sores, that I really doubt that anybody would look twice at it.

But, if you are still worried (which, is nevertheless, understandable) I agree with others that you should just tell her that you do not feel comfortable giving that information because there are no privacy safeguards.
