Thanks for the suggestion! Someone else had suggested alert me band as well. What does it feel like whe it gets wet? My biggest concern is that he doesn't remove it but that is comfortable especially when wet. He doesn't like the feel of wet fabric or any material on his skin. This is why I am favoring the Road ID.

It doesn't seem to bother him; he wears it in the bath and when playing outside in the water, and never has shown any sign of discomfort or attempt to remove it.

Good to know! When I went back we found a way to customize it to better suit our needs. It sounds like the best match! We have agonized over this for weeks but finally made the order and I'm excited to put it on him! Thank you so much!!!!

Just thought I would add to this that if you are in Canada most schools are part of the no child without program that provides free MedicAlert Bracelets and services for your child through MedicAlert.

That is very helpful to know but alas we live in the USA. There are other services and items that we get through the early intervention system. But this is something that is easy and that I am happy to pay for. Hope this information reaches others that do live in Canada
