Come celebrate National Meatball Day!!!

I wonder if those DIS dudes will come up with lame jokes about this one.
(Eagerly anticipating

I usually make my own meatballs, but occasionally I’ll buy frozen or refrigerated from the fresh meat section. I look carefully at the labels to make sure no mechanically separated chicken or turkey is in them. Sometimes I use the mixture of beef, veal, and pork (“Meatloaf Mix”).
One time somewhere the meatballs had an unusual but good taste. I later found out they were venison.
No to ground chicken or turkey meatballs.

We generally use beef, but our turkey meatballs are also surprisingly good, especially if they’re fried before being put in a sauce. We often make a huge batch and freeze them in bags to use later for quick meals.
