I always use grape jelly and ketchup.

I have made it with BBQ sauce too and everyone loves it.

heinz chili sauce Oops it's late and apparently I can't read, I missed you forgot the chili sauce.

Ok I have never heard of this combo before. I would never imagine put that all together. Am I missing out on something???

I was going to say BBQ Sauce. I thought I was the only one who made meatballs this way. I also do meatloaf with the same ingredients.

You've probably had it & didn't even realize!! I was eating them for years & had no idea there was grape jelly in the sauce. We sometimes have Lil Cocktail Weanies instead of Meatballs.

Another vote for barbecue sauce! We've having cocktail weenies in BBQ/Grape Jelly tomorrow. DH can hardly wait!

I do ketchup, mustard, brown sugar and grape jelly.

Apparently it turns into a sweet and sour type sauce. I've made it before but never eaten it. If it's any indication, DH brought that into work and none came home and they asked for it again :thumbsup2

If you want a tried and true recipe, I make sweet and sour meatballs - I'm pretty sure I got the recipe here. (Thanks!) You probably have all the ingredients.

1 c br sugar
1/2 c vinegar
1/2 c bbq sauce
1 T worcestershire sauce
1 T prepared mustard

Combine and bring to a boil. Pour over meatballs. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. I usually bake them a while because they get kind of "sticky" as they bake (good sticky!) and then put them in the crock pot to stay warm. I'm guessing a double batch if you're having a crowd and lots of meatballs.

OMG, I thought this was a joke at first. Never heard of this combo before. Since I recently got a crockpot I'll have to look for this recipe.

Sliced up kielbasa is good too.

And for those that didn't know the "recipe", its just equal parts grape jelly & chili sauce.

No matter how much I make of this each year, there never seems to be enough. I've got 3 packages of lil' weiners this year. Last year, 2 kielbasa.

i did the chilli sauce and a can of jellied cranberry sauce... good!!

I've used grape jelly and a jar of Ragu; turned out pretty tasty.
