Mears Vs Rental for Short Trips

Twice for a short trip to WDW, I have discovered that its actually a better value to rent a car from Alamo (with DC code) instead of taking Mears.

Mears for 2 Adults and 1 child round trip from Airport to Hotel and back costs about $132.00.

Alamo Economy Rental for 4 days on the Labor Day Weekend is costing me:$132.59 with DC code.
(And last time I got a free upgrade to Compact... they had no more Economy cars left.)

I personally find a rental car more convenient than Mears, less waiting.

I guess my point is for short trips, be sure to check rental car rates before deciding to use Mears to save $$.

Correcting my own post...
Mears is actually 25.00 round trip.
So it would only be $67.00.

Doh... I need to learn to read more carefully.
