Please help ... does Mears pick-up from the Disney hotels to Universal. I would like to spend one day at Universal but will be staying at Coronado Springs and visiting the Disney parks. How do you do this and how much does it cost?

yes,mears will pick you up at a "disney hotel" and take you to universal. i don't remember how much it cost. but 26 comes to mind.perhaps someone else know's the cost,have fun.

I don't know the cost - in 1999 it was $10 round trip! - but I do know it's not automatic. You have to call Mears at least one day in advance, possibly 24 hours, to reserve. They'll tell you what time you're being picked up; they drop you off at the Hub at Universal; and they'll give you a card with a phone number to call two hours in advance of when you want to go back.
The trip TO Universal is often in vans, but on the way back they were using buses - so even though I was told two hours when I called, when I got over to the pickup location I was able to get right on a waiting bus.

It is $14 per person RT. Call 407-423-5566 to make you RES the day prior. Kids 3 & under are free. Both busses and vans are used.

BEWARE! Some "No Name" vans are poaching MEARS reservations for SW and US. They take your money for RT and never return to pick you up. MAKE SURE your ride is really MEARS, (ID TAG) etc. Mears drivers are in white and gray uniforms and will provide you with a return voucher with phone # etc to set your return time. ALL vehicles will say Mears on it somewhere.
