Who out there has used the Mears transportation and what did you think of it? Trying to find the cheapest way to get from MCO to the Royal Pacific Hotel for 1 night then onto POFQ the next night. They we'll have to get back to the airport a week later. We were down in the world last year with the whole family and had rented a town car and then we were upgraded to a stretch hummer limo!! Free of charge!! This time it will be just DH and myself without the kids so we could wait a while without to much bother. :flower:

I have used Mears twice in the past once in 2001 and again in 2002 and I'm using them for my trip in a few more days! I have never had any problems with them both times I have used them I have been on the larger busses and there has only been drop-offs or pick-ups at two or three other hotels. My sister just used them in October 2004 and everything went smooth as well for her. At the airport for pick-up I have never had to wait too long (about 20 minnutes or so) to get a ride to my resort. On the way back they pick up with plenty of time to get to the airport. I think a lot of it depends on when you arrive at the airport and what time your flight leaves at. I have used both twoncar services and Mears and although I would prefer a towncar paying $90+ for one person just isn't worth it for me. I will make sure to report back on my experience. I'm sure people have horror stories, but you will find the same thing from people who have used towncar companies as well.
