mears transportation?

I assumed we would be using the magical express but reading through all the information from virgin it says we will be using mears is this normal? i know this is probably a silly question but im just having last minute worries

If your confirmation says transfer included, it is Virgin's 'shuttle' which is Mears. If it says Magical Express, only then is it ME. If you specifically want ME, give them a ring and book it. You will need to do this yourself, not through VH, but it would be courteous to let VH know once you have confirmation that ME will be collecting you.

The transfers are included which is with mears. I just assumed it would be the magical express because i had read so many posts about it. As long as it gets me there i dont mind

We have been with virgin 3 times and our 4th time in a couple of weeks. We have had the mears transport tickets everytime and never had a problem. You meet a coach out front, now this varies at what the coach has on the side, one said disney cruise line, lol. Also for any reason that you get very delayed they will provide you with a private taxi, which they did for a friend of mine.

ALthough I have never done a VH package, what really impresses me at MCO is how the VH reps are always waiting after the carousel to meet and greet any of their guests and give them a hand with directions if necessary. I think you will be well looked after. We don't get a lot of Mears info posted on here so when you get back you will be able to help others with details for their trips!

Yes the virgin reps are always on hand to point you in the right direction and to which bus, they also give you your welcome pack on the bus or just before you get on.

Correct. They also run the VH transfer though so although the same company you are getting a different (not better or worse) service though.

Last year we had a virgin package and had no problems with the mears coach that took us to pofq. Excellent service we took our bags to coach and when we got to our resort the driver unloaded them. To be honest not much difference to ME. Even though we have magical express this trip we will take our bags with us as we like to freshen up on arrival after the flight.

Main difference from what I can tell is that with ME you can get your bags collected from 2nd carousel and have them delivered later

they also operate all the taxis on site,if they build the link from the airport(been in the planning for years)disney have said they will drop mears in an instant
