Mears Transportation

We will be staying at POP in June and plan on doing Discovery Cove and Seaworld we will not have a car and I remember in 1999 that my Dad and I got a mears shuttle from our resort to seaworld and back. I read that they still do this but has anyone done it recently and know any details, like how much it costs, the times they pick-up and return, and if they also go to DC? Thanks for your help!!

We are staying at the Sports and going to Seaworld the 28th. From the information I have gathered, Mears is $16 per person round trip. You can call from the day before to make arrangements. We used Mears back in 2004 when we went to Universal and were pleased with the service and plan on using them again.

thanks, I figured it was probably easy enough to set-up and cheaper than renting a car for two days.

Anyone know if they go to Discovery Cove as well?

How many are in your party? Reason I ask is because a taxi from our resort to Sea World was like 20 bucks each way. We had 4 people so 40 bucks roundtrip was better than 65 bucks for Mears. That was our experience.

There will only be two of us going, so it would probably be cheaper going Mears this time for us! Thanks for the idea though!

Does Mears pick you up at a specific place or right at your Disney resort? Does it take along time to get somewhere...like Universal when taking the Mears shuttle? Any input would help thanks
