Mears Shuttle

Is the Mears shuttle from your hotel to Universal a bus or a large minivan? We will be traveling with a 2 year old and using ME so we don't need a carseat to get from the airport to the hotel.

If the Mears shuttle is a bus than we don't need the carseat either but if it is a minivan than I think we would end up renting a car instead so that we could rent a carseat or just bring one from home.

I was trying to get away with not having to bring a carseat at all.

It probably depends on how many people they have going at that time. The day we went they picked us up in a regular van, but on the way home to our hotel it was a big bus. I know one year that we took a cab, they actually had a carseat for us to use. Maybe Mears has something like that if you call ahead of time?

A van picked us up at Disney Resort FQ 9 people all from FQ.
A big bus picked us up at Universal Studios. You have to call them 2 hours in advance for pick up. Several people were on the bus made several stops before we got back to FQ. Nice bus I have to admit , van was so so.
