Hello,
Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, looked at a few threads and did not see these specific questions answered.

We will be using mears shuttle to get from POR to IOA. That night we have dinner reservations at cape may. Has anyone had any issues with Mears picking up at one resort and dropping off at another on return trip?

Also how long should we give ourselves for travel via mears to arrive before IOA opens (9am) and return for dinner close to park closing? (park closes at 6pm) Not sure how much time to allot for traffic, multiple drop off's, and other factors.

Thanks!!!

I used Mears years ago and it was okay:rolleyes1. I would think they are dependable. May I offer an alternative solution and that would be to rent a car for 24 or 48 hours. You can get great rates. You can go and return when you please. Also you can go right from IOA to dinner. On site you can rent at Dolphin or Swan the one on the side of Beach and Yacht Club. Also near downtown disney or near the Magic Kingdom entrance. The ones near Downtown Disney and MK have picked us up and we went to get the car. When we rented at Dolphin/Swan we just walked over after Epcot.:cool1:

I've used the Mears shuttle over to US/IoA many times. It works quite well. Just be sure when booking that they realize you need to return to a different resort. I usually allow an hour. We booked their first departure time of 7:30 once..but that was because we were headed to Royal Pacific Resort to check in. We got there, checked in and were entering the park by 8:50.
For the return, I would also allow an hour. You can either book a return time when you first book, or you can call them, about 2 hrs prior to the time you want to leave. They will give you the time to report to the bus/van area. Be sure to let them know when you call that you need to go to POR.

If you haven't booked your park passes yet..check here.....

They offer a park pass with transportation as well. That's what I have done.

If you rent a car, you have to pay for parking as well as gas, and find your way there. I've done it before, but prefer using Mears.
