I will be going solo to WDW Dec 13. I originally was supposed to go with someone else and paid for the airfare (both of us) and the hotel room. Now this other person cannot go so I really have to watch my money (I am already out $160 for airfare).

I have never taken Mears and have read the mixed reviews but Mears it is going to have to be for my budget.
Now (finally) to my questions:

(1) What are the steps for taking a Mears van or bus (do you have a choice as to which one you go on?)

(2) I assume I walk up to a counter (where?) and plunk down $28 for a round-trip ticket.

(3) Do I tip the driver? How much?

(4) I will originally be staying at the Grosvenor (no All Stars available then) and then later I will be at the All Stars. Do I have to tell Mears at the beginning where I will be for the round-trip?

(5) How do I get Mears to come for me to go to the airport?

(6) How much time should I allow for the trip to the airport (I leave Sunday at 6 pm)

Thanks for your help.

You can book your Mears reservations online: mearstransportation.com

You pay for roundtrip ticket at the counter and do not have a choice of van or bus.

They give you a pickup time for your return trip to the airport when you tell them your flight time the day before you are leaving.

I have used mears for every trip to WDW and have had no problem. I actually think there service is great if you are not renting a car.
