Does anyone know if you can still take a regular Mears shuttle from MCO to a Disney resort?

My brother is joining us for part of our trip in August. While he is not staying at POR (so he is not eligible for Magical Express) I would like him to meet us there directly from the airport. I thought that the least expensive way to do this would be to book him on a Mears shuttle.

When I put his info in, the website said that "transportation to Disney resorts is available by Magical Express" and would not let me reserve the transportation.

Can this still be done? Can he do it as an unreserved ride from the airport? I would hate for him to have to pay premium money for a towncar - it's just him & a little bit of luggage! There must be other people in this position - people who make late reservations, or just forget to ask for Magical Express.

Yes, yes, and yes (you asked three questions )

He can and should simply proceed to the Mears counter - which should be on Level One on each side of the airport - and arrange a ride to your hotel. While he will be charged, he will also likely ride on a DME bus.

I was hoping to arrange it in advance, but he should be able to handle it (he runs nuclear power systems on Navy Aircraft carriers so let's hope so!!).
