I know I've read somewhere on this board that Mears cost $14 per person to Universal or IOA. But I'm not sure if this is one way or round trip? Can someone let me know?

Thanks!

I can't remember the exact cost, approx $12- $14 but I do know that it is for a round trip.:D

It cost us $12 pp, roundtrip, from ASMu to Sea World, last year.

Thank you both. I've been trying to decide between renting a car or using Mears for our offsite trips. Now I'll have a better idea of what to budget. Thanks again!

There's lots of information at their website. Look for the rate tariff link. They have information for both 2003 & 2004. They also have something called a superpass which includes transportation from airport and unlimited park transport from area hotels. If you're thinking of making several trips using Mears this might be a worthwhile option.

oops - forgot the website - www.mearstransportation.com

I had never heard of the Superpass before. Thanks! We're staying for 10 nights, so it will probably make more financial sense for us to rent a car this time around, but for shorter visits, the Superpass sounds like it would definitely be a great deal. I'll keep this info in mind for our next trip.

Thanks again!

Slightly off topic. How long will it take for me (taking Mears shuttle) from the airport to Disney's All-Stars resorts?

It depends on how long it takes Mears to fill the bus going to the All Stars resorts. I would plan on at least an hour, probably more. If the bus is full of people going to other resorts, they will be dropped off first, since All Stars is the end of the line. The good thing is, All Stars is big, there are a lot of people staying there, so you may get lucky and have a bus full...then you would go straight there.

How many people are in your party? If there are three or more, it will be cheaper to get a towncar....something to think about. :D
