Mears or other for 12 people??

We have 12 people (7 adults, 5 children) who will need transportation from MCO airport to the Pop Century Resort (and back to the airport 7 days later). Has anyone gone with a group this large before? Would you recommend taking the Mears shuttle or would it be cheaper to hire a Limo or something like that? Thanks for your help!

Mears will be the most expensive option. I'd do a van/towncar combo...should be enough room for all pax and luggage, and you can make a grocery stop to grab water and snacks along the way.

What limo/van companies are best (has anyone used and would recommend) for large groups needing transportation from MCO airport to WDW?

I agree with ducklite. It would be much easier and less expensive to use the van/limo. I am using trans2disney.com. for the first time. I have heard both good and bad about almost all the companies out of MCO. Happy Limo, Southern Elegance, etc.

I went to each web page and compared prices and called and spoke with the people. I did originally book Happy Limo, but when I received my confirmation it showed us going to WDW with no return trip. I called again and they said they missed it. That scared me. I have heard great reviews from others about them though.

I looked for a grocery stop and most supplied this free (15 minute to 30 minute) option.

I took Mears on my last trip and was lucky enough to have a van pickup and drop off. I have heard the Mears BIG busses stop at every resort and don't leave MCO until full. This could mean waiting at the airport for an additional hour or so. Add into that the stopping at each resort to unload the people and luggage...... I am sure you see why I went with the Van for the 5 of us.

I wanted to get to Mickeys ASAP. Especially with my whiny DS5. OK he is getting better but I will be getting him up at 5:30 for our flight.
