Mears from WDW to USO

Through AAA, we've got two packages including airport transfers. In September, we'll be spending 4 nights in WDW and 3 nights at Universal. We're flying in on Sunday and will take the shuttle to WDW. Then on Thursday, my TA said that we have to take the Mears shuttle from WDW to the airport and then get another Mears shuttle there back out to Universal. She said that Mears will expect us to use the return transfer on Thursday and another transfer to get to Universal and if we don't they'll wonder where we are! Do we really have to do this? Can we get Mears to just take us from one to the other without the airport stop. What a waste of time! Has anyone ever been in this situation? I've asked this question before, but no one responded. I'll probably try to call Mears ahead of time but thought I'd check here first. Thanks for any input you can give me.

Bumping since I would love to know the answer!

Personally I've only used Mears for round trips between the airport and WDW. And I've paid "cash".

You may want to call and see how that works since you already have "transfers".

OK, This morning I called Mears and a very nice lady told me that the shuttles won't go from hotel to hotel. We'll have to take a shuttle from WDW to the airport on Thursday and then get another shuttle to Universal. Mears said that the round trip transfer was cheaper than a one-way.Waste of time but no other option. Maybe next time we'll price out our vacation separately to see if the trip could be cheaper but for us at this time packages were the way to go. And when POFQ closed we were upgraded to WL, so all is good!

I think that Mears does offer a shuttle from WDW resorts to Universal. I think its 14.00pp. I was considering this but booked a towncar instead. Maybe this shuttle only drops off at the park, but still it would save so much time. You should really look into it as it will save you so much trouble. Its right on the mears website.
