Mears Cost included.....

While booking our Disney trip with the travel agent we discovered that the cost of our round trip Mears transportation was included. With saying that....Friends of ours just came back from Disney and stated they had to wait 1 1/2 just to get on a Mears van!!! My hubby would like to rent a Town Car instead. My question is will I get my money back from Mears and How does the whole Town Car transportation work? Thank you in advance.

I have no idea what you booked, but it sounds like a package that includes Mears transportation. You can elect NOT to use Mears, but I've never heard of a refund/rebate when it is a package. Maybe you can ask your travel agent if it will cost less if you elect not to use Mears.

I think at this point, it's going to depend on whatever the terms were when you booked your package with your TA.

I think this is just one of those instances where you'd be better to just call your travel agent.

The last time I used a TA, which was a few years ago, we were able to take off Mears transportation. She deducted the price from our balance.

Call TA, she was able to take off the Mears charge and apply the difference to our Town Car. Thanks everyone
