Mears bus question plus a question on rideshares

Does anyone know if the Mears busses can drop you off and pick you up from different resorts? I am thinking about a December trip to both Universal and Disney so I would be dropped off at a Universal resort but be picked up from a Disney one. Do they do this? From what I read it seems like it is just to and from one resort.

Also side question, does anyone know about what a rideshare from Universal to Disney costs in early December (not going around Christmas, too crowded for my taste)? I know it fluctuates based on season and even the time of day.

I make two one way Mears Connect reservations. Always to and from two different Disney World resorts. If Mears provides airport transportation for Universal resorts I’m sure you can do the same.

Thanks for posting this. In two weeks we'll be transferring from the Yacht Club to Sapphire Falls using an XL so this gives me an idea of cost. We've never used a ride share before so I'm a a little nervous, but it seems to be popular and pretty cost effective, so we thought why not.

Lyft gives you the opportunity to tip on the app. You can tip a % or a custom amount. 18% or 20% is a typical tip for good service, particularly if the driver helps with your luggage. A lower tip, maybe no tip, if the driver thinks I should be loading my luggage or packages in the trunk.

I don't know that they go to Universal resorts, but they definitely can pick up and drop off at different locations on the same reservation. You specify drop off and pick up locations when making the reservation. We used Mears Connect last summer and were dropped off at Yacht Club and picked up at BLT with no issues. Our reservation for next month has us being dropped at Contemporary and picked up at Boardwalk.

We discovered a great driver while at Universal, who we used 3 times, first for a trip to and from Royal Pacific to DAK for Moonlight Magic (we weren't done at Universal yet lol so "threw away" a DVC night) and we liked him so well we rebooked him for our move from Universal to WDW and finally from WDW to the airport. It was great to find someone who was reliable, friendly and reasonable (flat rate to airport was $95 which for our group of 6 was much better than Mears, the other trips were I believe $55 each) with whom we could communicate directly - no wondering if he was going to show up, in fact, he was always early - plus he has a booster seat or seats (we had our own inflatables) and he could accommodate our luggage plus a 2 seat stroller). He is Keith at Orlando Destination & Travel (ODT), 866-505-8987. We thought he was great and I would highly recommend him.
