Well, in less than a week, I will be in WDW. This is a 'solo' trip for me-solo flight, meeting family for the ½ Marathon. I have booked my Mears shuttle (yeah, I know. . . .town Car is so much better, but going solo, Mears makes more sense. ) I will have 1 small rolling suitcase (hand luggage--nothing checked). So, what is the protocol for tipping the Mears driver? And does it make a difference if it is the van (somewhat personal) or the bus? I guess that I'll need to know this for my home to airport driver, (Robert Q's travel) too. :) Thanks for the information!

I read somewhere on these message boards once that a good rule of thumb is to tip 2-3 dollars per piece of luggage. So that is what we did. We had two suitcases and tipped 4$. But I didn't tip when we were on the bus. Mostly because the service was kind of bad. It always seems better when you're in the van, like you said more personal I guess.
