Good Morning everyone!
ACK! Stop me... I'm outta controllllll!!!!!!!!!
Here's the story. PetSmart was having a "carnival" for dogs last night from 6-8 pm.
We decided to take Reilly and Hailey - Reilly has been to one of their parties before and likes it so we figured Hailey would too. We didn't get there at 6 because we had to visit mom in the rehab place first. When we got there they had already started the games.
There was a talent competition - Reilly doesn't know any "tricks" but then I thought of something he does all the time that I'm just used to as being "Reilly". The dog is just as comfortable walking on 2 paws as 4. I stuck a cookie in my hand and up he went and walked on his hind legs the length of the floor and turned and came back - like it was second nature to him. He won! He won a bag a misc treats which I let him get "treat faced" with later (surprisingly he only ate about 5 of them before he had enough)
Anyhow - we left to go shop around and then it happened. I went to the bird area. There were these 4 little female cockatiels. 2 greys and 3 pieds. One of the pieds was bright white and dark grey - very striking. I conned Matt into finding someone to ask about her - told him I still had some birthday money left and did the whole puppydog eyes pouting thing. As we were waiting for her to come over I noticed the other pied (yellow and grey) was running over and following our dogs at the window. I bent down at the corner of the window and she came running over to me and put her head down where my finger was as if to say "scratch my head". Matt said "OHH no" I said "OHH yes"
The lady let me inside the little "Birdy booth and opened the cockatiel cage and the little yellow and grey pied came running over and hopped up on her hand, then hopped over on mine.
The rest is history.
I need a name for a yellow and grey pied female cockatiel.
That makes my "ark" right now 11 parakeets, 3 cockatiels (2 nice and one grumpy that prefers to hang out with the parakeets) and 5 dogs. I'm not crazy, am I? (Careful how you answer that - I have the tag fairies cell phone number)
Anyway today's question (and no it's not am I crazy - or should it be?)
we did your favorite subject in school yesterday so now..
"What was your LEAST favorite subject in grade/high school?"
