Good Morning Everyone!

Wow, what a storm we had here in Richmond yesterday! Totally weird. I had just walked down to Staples to get some office supplies for work and it was partly cloudy and sunny - no storm clouds. 15 minutes later I was talking to my boss on the phone in my office and the lights started going wonky. I looked at the CCTV monitor and it was pitch black outside!!

I told my boss I had to run and went up front. It was horrible! The wind was just as bad as Hurricane Isabelle! Parts of trees were flying through the air and lightning was crashing everywhere! My employees told me the storm came rolling in out of nowhere!

Ended up with 83,000 people in Richmond losing power from the storm - roads blocked by fallen trees everywhere and downed powerlines in the streets. The news was calling this storm that came out of nowhere with no warning and winds over 70mph "The little sister of Hurricane Isabelle" It was crazy!

Anyway, enough about my fun yesterday! On to the poll!

I haven't done a name poll in a while so lets do one of those.

I'm glad you're ok, Lauri. I hate storms, unless I'm in a bad mood, then I feel at one with nature.

I chose Raggedy Andy. I used to have a couple of Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls.

I like Andy Griffith. I think he's cool.

My DH's company has its headquarters in Richmond and everyone here got to leave work early b/c the computers crashed due to the storm yesterday. He talked to some workers down there and they also said it was awful!

I had to read this twice. At first I thought you meant Andy Griffith talked to some workers and that's what made him such a nice guy .

But I agree that Andy Griffith is a class act, and I voted for him. I still love to watch Matlock .

Andrew Lloyd Webber for me! Phantom of the Opera is coming to town again next year! I haven't seen it since dd was 2 weeks old (she's 3 1/2 now). Can't wait!

Wow, Laurie! Glad you're okay. We had a pretty good storm yesterday afternoon although I didn't think it compared to what I used to have in FL. But I really missed having my attached two-car garage! It's difficult getting used to a parking lot instead of that garage.

That's funny, sorry if it wasn't clear. DH talked to his co-workers in Richmond. That would have been cool if it had been Andy!
