Good afternoon everyone! Yep, I'm late again. I'm off from work today and I ended up taking it easy this morning.
You see, there was something wrong with the Earth's gravitational pull yesterday.. it was working overtime. I was just standing there minding my own business in the stockroom at work when wham.. my ankles caved in and I hit the floor face first. I have no idea what caused it. I didn't trip on anything, I don't think I blacked out.. I do know I screamed when I started falling because my employees thought I was being murdered and the person who I had left on hold on the phone was going to call 911 when she heard my employees run to the back to get me..
For the rest of the day I just felt.. out of whack. My mind wasn't working right, I seemed to feel like everything was surreal. My balance stunk. Gravity was NOT my friend.
So needless to say, I slept in and stayed in bed this morning because I'm all kinds of lovely shades of blue and purple today.
So, on to today's question. One of my favorite days is tomorrow. I'm a jokester at heart. That is how I got my nickname MeanLaureen - not because I'm cranky (well, I am but ..) but from my love of practical jokes.
SO.. what is your take on April Fools Day? Love it or hate it?
