MeanLaureen's Useless Poll of the Day - Saturday

What is your favorite position to sleep in?

 • On my stomach (tried it but how the heck do you breathe? ;) )

 • On your back

 • On your left side

 • On your right side

 • Doesn't matter what side but I have to be curled up in a ball and/or hugging something

 • Doesn't matter what side but I have to be straight out like a board and nothing touching me

 • hanging from my knees (note to self.... get wooden stake at home depot and garlic at Ukrops)

 • I don't have a favorite position... I could sleep anywear

Good morning everyone!

Well, I got off from work today - not the way I wanted to do it but I'm home. If you read my post about my knee you know why. O..M..G the thing hurt more last night 8 hours AFTER the shot than it did when they did it! What's with that? My ankle didn't hurt more.. and my wrist didn't hurt more when they did that one a couple of months ago!

It was torture to stand up and sit down - so I told Matt.. I'm not drinking anything tonight because I don't want to have to get up and use the bathroom until the morning (hoping it will feel better in the am)

Think that worked? Heck no. For some reason.. unknown to me... my body decided to wake me up every freaking 2 hours to go to the bathroom! I swear to God my body has a meaner sense of humor than I do!! (just told Matt what I said and he's laughing so hard he's turning red... payback to me? I dunno)

Anyway... on the subject of sleeping and my lack there of it last night I ask you today...

"What is your favorite position to sleep in?"

I think my poll made everyone go back to bed..lol

My mom just got done with 5 shots in her one knee(no cartilage left) and her doctor told her to take 2 Aleve(sp?) befor bed.

My fav or on my stomach and its easy to breathe, lol, just turn your head to the side. That said I usually sleep on my side because dh and I always have 2 little rugrats in bed with us and I only have room to lay on my side.

I have to sleep on my side and it doesn't matter which one. And I'm also like a little kid because I have to be hugging my teddy bears! :teeth:

Stomach. I like stretching out! But I like curling up and sleeping on my side also. LOL!

Kind of on my stomach and my side. I think more stomach.
I'm definitely sure that I can't sleep on my back and that my husband could sleep (and snore) in any position.

A few year's ago, I lost 40 lbs. Ever since then, I have to have a pillow between my knees when I sleep or I get a MAJOR backache. I have two pillows-one for my head & one for my knees. Anyone else do this?

BTW, I prefer sleeping on my left.

I have to have lots of pillows!

on my right side, pillow between my knees, hugging another pillow and 2 pillows under my head.........my DH calls it my "nest"

btw.......dh.....left side, pillow between HIS knees (we both have iffy backs), 2 pillows under his head.......

needless to say.......when we travel we take a few pillows with us and ask for extras at the hotel........

WHAT A COUPLE OF GEEKS!!!!!

That's what my DH calls my half of the bed, too!! :p

I just have to be spooning my honey or vice versa, with a pillow in between my legs!

:D

I like to move around to different positions. If I can't move, I'm not happy.

I have to be on my right side. If I do fall asleep on my left, I always turn towards my right.

Always only ever been one way.........on my stomach:D
