Ain't that the truth! "Sorry kids, I've only got $100 in cash, we can't go to the movie!"
I have to have buttered popcorn and M&M's at a movie, or I can't go! A bite of each together, MMMMM! Tried to mix them, but the M&M's fall to the bottom of the sack!
Okay, the "candy fiasco" from yesterday that I'm supposed to rat Lauri out on.
Yesterday we decided to go see The Day After Tomorrow, but first we stopped by Sam's Club to do a little shopping. Lauri didn't find the posterboard for the yard sale signs, but she did find a 2.5 lb bag of Hershey's Nuggets candy to get.
At first she figured she would sneak a few pieces of candy into the movie in her purse. Well, we got in the car and she burned her hand a little on the car. Suddenly, leaving two pounds of chocolate in the car didn't seem like a smart thing to do.
So she emptied her purse and started shoving candy (at least, what she didn't manage to shove into my mouth as I'm driving) into every nook and cranny of the purse -- including the change compartment and the cell phone pocket.
I voted for SnoCaps, I seem to only get them at the movies.
However, I really want some nachos with peppers please!!! Oh, I am so glad to be going to Harry Potter this weekend! I can finally get my nacho fix in, I swear I want to stop at a theatre and ask if I can just buy some. Not see a movie, just the nachos, I need nachos....now Sunday seems so far away!
This was a hard poll for me because I wanted so desperatly to vote twice.
I voted for snowcaps - because I love them so much. But......I really love M&M's too and they are actually my favorite candy of all time. But I voted for snowcaps because I always have M&M's at home and never snowcaps which is why I get snowcaps at the movies. Whew....confused? I am!!!
I said "other" because, although I love chocolate and candy, I've got to have popcorn at the movies, with a big Diet Coke. DH always gets raisinettes, but I just need my popcorn!
I choose snowcaps, but the best thing that I like to eat at the movies is extra butter popcorn, with arare-Japanese rice crackers-they have bags of arare being sold at the theaters here in Hawaii and you just mix those two together.
I think I'll eat some of that now.
