Okay folks

I'm sure you have seen the campaigning ads from AZJazzyJ and the committee to elect cotton candy to knock funnel cakes out of first place in Monday's poll.

Well, just for Jeff, let me level the playing field and get rid of all those 3rd party independant Nader/Perot type candidates like Sausages and Corn Dogs and get to business

"The ULTIMATE fair/carnival food - Cotton Candy or Funnel Cakes?"

Ok before I vote are funnel cakes and fried dough one in the same?

LOL! Nope, not going to vote! Can't stand either one!

I think so. The only place Ive had funnel cakes was in Epcot, but we always have fried dough around here at carnivals and the like. And I didnt see fried dough on the original thread so, Im guessing it is the same. ;)

Dang! Now I want a funnel cake!

But I love them both!!! To be fair, since I voted for cotton candy yesterday, I'm voting funnel cake today.

I like and occasionally eat one or the other but truly the ONLY reason for my even considering stopping at one of the local carnival's is to buy a funnel cake. There is just something about the smell that brings my car to a dead stop!

Ok just for that I am boycotting (as opposed to boy-Cotton Candy-ing which by the way is blue cotton candy) the Jeff thread.

People, people I implore you to have some decency and not allow our country to be taken over by those left-wing liberal funnel cake supporters (unless you are a left-wing liberal. In that case replace the words "left", "wing", and "liberal" with the words "right", "wing", and "conservative").

Did you know that once George Washington got wooden teeth he ate only cotton candy? So if it is good for the father of our country, don't you think it is good enough for you? And for those friends north of the border, Canadian cotton candy is the same great taste but you only get 70 percent as much per package.

would you technically really hav to replace wing with wing though??? could we use some other birdy body part and still participate?:)

and i guess since jeff going to be all sticky about it ,, i just will have to change my vote to carmel apples:)

cause i really dont like cotton candy,, in fact i think there sa cotton candy machiune in the stuff we put out in the garage to have sale with:) maybe i can find that thing and e mail itto jeff.... hmmmmmmmmmmm

I think funnel cakes and fried bread dough are different. A funnel cake is a batter that gets fried and bread dough is just that, a hunk of dough that gets fried.

I'll take a caramel apple thank you! :)

Sorry, Jeff! Looks like Cotton Candy is being blown out of the competition! It is time to admit that funnel cakes are hands down the BEST fair food! :teeth:

Nothing better than fresh spun cotton candy, not the bagged stuff.

I think funnel cakes are the byproducts of the deadly funnel web spiders....beware!

Cotton candy.:hyper: Funnel cakes are good too, but cotton candy wins, imo. My kids would choose candied apples though.:teeth:
