Hi again! So, after talking to the coordinator, here is the layout of our day!

9am ceremony @ Luau Pointe at the Polynesian Village
11am (approx.) private brunch @ Sonoma Room at the Contemporary

7pm (approx.) meet @ international gateway to be escorted in to view IllumiNations from Viking's Landing in Epcot

As you can see, there's quite a chunk of time in between the brunch and nighttime celebration. We're doing the Escape package so we're adding on the meal and the dessert party, but I have a question about additional customizations:

Any recommendations for where to grab a quick bite to eat at about 5? I'm going to see about perhaps a Living Seas early dinner reservation or something at one of the Epcot area hotels. I'll also ask my coordinator but I'm not sure if we should go the private or public route.

Also as an add-on for anyone that's done the park portrait session: HOW in the world do you find someone to re-do your hair so early in the morning?!

Thank you for your help in advance!!

We had our dessert party at bikinis landing, it was GREAT for the amount of people! You’ll love it!!

We had a meet and greet dinner the night before at trattoria al forna, if you do a 5pm reservation you shouldn’t have a problem. We didn’t have our entire wedding come to hat so I’m not sure if you’d need to get a private room or not, but the service was excellent and food was great as well! I will say if you have a small wedding group you’ll have A LOT Of desserts!

I would just add savory food to the dessert party menu. We once had DIY nachos for only $15/person and it was all-you-can eat—it would have been plenty for dinner, especially with a few desserts thrown in.

Most of the same cosmetologists who will come to your room for wedding hair and makeup will also come back for your bridal portrait session. They are used to early mornings for Disney weddings. Disney will give you a list of recommended vendors, but there are lots of other popular ones in the area.
