Trying to come up with a meal plan - and would welcome any suggestions of how best to work them.

We want to do:
Auberge (lunchtime)
Cowboy Cookout Character (lunchtime)
Inventions Character Buffet (evening)
Cafe Mickey (lunch or evening)

We want to see Dreams and the parade at least twice, and Fantillusion twice too (if it is on).

Also want to catch the Parade in the studio and any shows that DD would love.

Our initial plan was:

Tuesday

7am - arrive at NPB from Kyriad and check in.
9am - breakfast at Salon Mickey
12pm - lunch at Auberge
4pm - grab something from Village
8pm - debating Cafe Mickey to share a pizza

Wednesday

7am - breakfast in room at NPB
9am - snack at Salon Mickey
1pm - Cafe Mickey character lunch
6pm - Casey's hotdogs

Thursday

8am - breakfast at NPB/Cafe Mickey or DLH
10am - snack at Salon Mickey
2pm - Toad Hall (fish & chips)
8pm - Inventions character buffet

Friday

7am - breakfast in room
9am - snack at Salon Mickey
1pm - Cowboy Cookout
6pm - Something quick but filling before leaving for airport!

However - 8pm is VERY late for the Inventions meal, and would prefer it closer to 6:30pm. So maybe we could skip the parade on this night? And head out to Dreams afterwards! Lunch is a better option for most things as it's a way to have a few hours out in the middle of the day, but what will we miss?

How would you fit the meals and parades/Dreams in?

Thanks

do you not plan on eating much at auberge? Otherwise this seems like quite a bit of food. I would try to wait until a bit later and grab a counter service meal to be finished in time to get your spot for the parade. You could always get coffee and a cake later on to eat while you are waiting for dreams.

wednesday

7am - breakfast in room at npb
9am - snack at salon mickey
1pm - cafe mickey character lunch
6pm - casey's hotdogs
seems fine, again you would be able to watch the parade and dreams tonight

thursday

8am - breakfast at npb/cafe mickey or dlh
10am - snack at salon mickey
2pm - toad hall (fish & chips)
8pm - inventions character buffet

i think i would skip the parade on thursday and do inventions earlier (and in fact that is what we are doing in june) that still allows you to watch the parade twice and see dreams every night if you want to. It seems the anniversary train in the main park will be on three times a day in the afternoon - at the moment it is at 1.30, 2.30, 3.30 so you should be able to find at least one afternoon to see it. I assume you will be planning naps too?

thanks

Thanks for that!

Probably won't eat much at Auberge tbh, now that the Lamb is gone, unless they let us have the chicken! We're not going for the food tbh! LOL!

Would you change the days around and maybe do Inventions on the Wednesday so that we have a night on, night off parade wise, rather than 2 nights in a row?

Yes, we were planning naps - eating at lunchtime then heading back for a nap, so we need to plan a day where we can grab the day parade, and also a full morning/afternoon in Studios (maybe when we plan lunch at Cafe Mickey for this?)

I would perhaps leave it as it is so you see dreams Tue and Wed, then you could spend the afternoon in the park on Thursday and then go back to the hotel after the parade so you had time to pack etc. If it was me I would probably head to the studios Wednesday morning and then go out to cafe mickey for lunch on the way back to the hotel. You would probably be able to catch the anniversary train after coming out of Auberge before heading back to the hotel to collect room keys and nap. :goodvibes

A new plan, tweaked in places and thought more about parades etc.

Tuesday

7am - arrive at NPB from Kyriad and check in.
9am - breakfast at Salon Mickey
12pm - lunch at Auberge
4pm - grab something from Village or DLH for coffee & Mickey waffles!
8pm - debating Cafe Mickey to share a pizza

EMH in Park
Watch Parade/Fanti & Dreams

Wednesday

Lie-in after Dreams
8am - breakfast at NPB/Cafe Mickey or DLH
1pm - Toad Hall (fish & chips)
6:30pm - Inventions character buffet

See 3:30pm Anniversary Train
Possibly early night or Dreams again!

Thursday

7am - breakfast in room at NPB
9am - snack at Salon Mickey
2pm - Cafe Mickey character lunch
7pm - Casey's hotdogs

EMH in Park
10am-2pm Studios

Watch Parade/Fanti & Dreams

Friday

7am - breakfast in room
9am - snack at Salon Mickey
1pm - Cowboy Cookout
6pm - Something quick but filling before leaving for airport!

EMH in Park
See 3:30pm Anniversary Train

I think Thursday we'll want to see the parades etc. with it being our last night, so toying with Wednesday night off with Inventions and an early night!

Just not sure! Thanks for helping me form some ideas - my head was bursting!

I just can't wait to do the character meals - stress free magic!
