I'm less than 4 months away from DLR. OMGoodness, I'm feeling panicked! I keep thinking of little questions and silliness, and I get worried about things! So, here's my current concerns!

(1) I was reading the recent "budget DLR" thread. It mentioned possibly sharing meals. In your opinion, are they big enough for a relatively light-eating mom and growing 8yo? I figured we would do one sit down "forget the price" dinner, and one character breakfast. For times like that, I'm not worried about what we are spending; it's all about the experience! However, for the other times, would most "meals" (thinking largely counter-service meals) be big enough to share?

(2) Kind of based off the above question: I assume there's a few local places that would deliver groceries? I think I remember reading something about a Food4Less nearby? Are prices at grocers around DLR more expensive than other places? (IE, if I plan meals/snacks from F4L or Target, is it likely that it would cost about the same there as next to my house?)

(3) How far away from DLR is Target on Harbor? Do they do a food section there?

(4) Is there public transportation on Harbor? If so, any idea on the prices?

(5) Do we need sun block in late Feb/early March?!?

1. Depends on where you go. The best bet for sharing is the Plaza Inn Fried chicken. You get three pieces of chicken (usually a breast, wing, and thigh), mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, and a biscuit. It's enough for two easily. Some food places I wouldn't be able to share unless I was snacking before.

2. Vons delivers and I believe the first delivery has no delivery fee (but I think there is a minimum order). As for pricing, I'm not sure, but I will tell you in general, I find California's food prices to be pretty good since there is so many grocery store chains. More competition, more deals.

3. Not sure, possibly google map it?

4. Yes, there is a public bus system Anaheim Resort Transit (http://www.rideart.org/) as well as the Metro bus system (http://lite.metro.net/).

5. If you are going to be at the parks all day, sunblock is always a good idea no matter what month. You can get sunburned any time of the year in sunny or even cloudy weather. If I am going all day, I usually do my face for sure, and on super sunny days, arms and legs. Just depends on how much you burn.

1. It really depends on the meals. Some of the common things like a Burger and fries are not easy to split. A few meals are. Or in some locations you can get one entree to split and two sides to make

2. Where you would go to shop depends on the location of where you are staying. The prices are normal these are neighborhood stores no meant to cater to the resort visitors nearby.

3. The Target has food it's a little over a mile from the intersection of Harbor and Katella. Food4Less it about 1.25 miles from that spot. There is also a 7eleven at that intersection.

4. ART services the hotels on Harbor, the cost is $4 and up. Again depending on where you are staying you may want to use ART or not during your visit. You can take the merto(municipal) buses for less if just a one time trip.

5. Sunblock is always a good ideas unless it's raining.
